Ireland’s leading field management company, FMI, which has its headquarters in Dublin, has today announced its expansion into Northern Ireland in a move which will create 24 positions and result in an overall investment of over half a million pounds this year.

Established in 1995 and currently celebrating over 20 years in business, FMI provides a range of services which include direct sales, merchandising, in-store demonstrations, retail auditing and a contact centre solution.

The company employs 80 full time head office staff and payrolls over 800 employees weekly, with a database of 1,000 active field personnel.

FMI has established its Belfast base at Sydenham Business Park and will now begin to recruit for brand sales executives and team executives to work with their client list, which includes leading energy supplier Electric Ireland.

Nicola de Beer, managing director of FMI, said: “FMI is excited to take this step into the Northern Irish market and we look forward to working with a varied client list which will include companies we already have strong relationships with as well as expanding our portfolio.

“We have enjoyed a very successful 20 years in the Republic of Ireland and the time is right to set our sights on the opportunity to provide our skills and services in the north. We acknowledge that our strength is our people which is why we are so excited to employ a local team of high calibre talent across all levels of the business.”

Julie McBride, account manager at FMI Belfast, said: “From the outset we want to demonstrate our commitment to the local marketplace and I think that the creation of over 20 jobs speaks volumes about the strength of our intentions as we move forward.

“We are now keen to hear from enthusiastic recruits across a range of disciplines who would like to become brand ambassadors for some of the best companies in Northern Ireland. We want our staff to develop and we will invest in their training to allow them to become the best they can be.

“I would encourage anyone interested in joining a great company and dynamic team to send their CV into me at julie.mcbride@fmi.ie or call me on 028 9344 6985.”
