John Semple Wins Field Sales Champion Award 2014 Field Management Ireland had a great win at the 4th Annual Irish Sales Champion Awards recently. Winners were announced at the awards ceremony which took place at The Aviva Stadium last Thursday (19th June). John Semple, an employee of FMI was honoured with the ‘Field Sales Champion’ Award for 2014. John is from Shankhill originally but has lived in Firhouse, Co. Dublin for the last 30 years. This award recognises the level of skill required to successfully sell to customers in a Field Sales environment. In selecting a winner, the judges chose a candidate who inspired his manager to describe him as a man who has “un-paralleled knowledge of the product and is always available to those who seek his help in the field. He displays all of the attributes and characteristics of a field sales champion and it has been my pleasure to work with him’. FMI entered four categories and were nominated and shortlisted in all four on the night. These categories included; The Champion Sales Team for Electric Ireland, Champion Sales Support Team for Electric Ireland, Champion Field Sales Manager – Andy Salter and Field Sales Champion – John Semple. The ISC Awards celebrate the competitive spirit, ingenuity and tenacity of Irish sales personnel on the front line. They recognise the sales professionals continuing to deliver results with enthusiasm and integrity despite the economic climate. They reward those who support, motivate and train them and the technology that supports them. John Semple, Field Sales Champion said: “I am delighted to be honoured with the Field Sales Champion Award for 2014. I have worked diligently in the past and continue to do so with the staff in FMI. I would like to commend my hard working colleagues who continuously strive to provide an excellent service for our clients.
