On Friday 4th March @ 2.30pm team FMI will take part in the Shave, Dye and Oh My! fundraising campaign by doing one of each hair style!
Sabrina O Driscoll, account manager for FMI, based in Cork is being very brave and having her hair shaved off! Sabrina heard in the news a number of weeks ago that the Irish Cancer Society were having to close down the Hardship Fund, leaving many families to struggle financially at a time when they have a sick member of the family needing treatment. Sabrina experienced needing hospitalisation a number of years ago and experienced first hand the demands and stress on the whole family. Sabrina hopes funds raised will be able to help families. Sabrina has also lost family members to Cancer.
Gavin is offering up his head for a pretty pink dye! Gavin is delighted to support his colleague and worthy charity. “The average monthly cost for Cancer treatment is €862 so it’s great to know the funds we raise will we put to good use”.
Shangdi, our office dog is supporting this fundraiser due to the numbers of dogs who are impacted by Cancer. FMI are huge animal lovers and we know many people who have lost their pet due to Cancer. Pets are a huge part of many families lives and the impact of a lost pet can be extremely difficult. High paws to Shangdi!
