In business, it is essential to understand that employees are a company’s greatest asset. They are your competitive advantage. This belief is deeply ingrained in everything we do in FMI. Further development and growth of our business relies solely on the abilities of our team, after all… “Our Strength Is Our People”.
Strength rarely comes naturally, and certainly requires constant focus and development.
For eight years now, FMI has utilised a combination of staff development programmes to facilitate the growth and development of our staff. This has been a wonderful platform, and has enabled a vast number of staff, myself included, to forge career paths within FMI.
After eight strong years, however, it is time to fondly place our existing programmes in the FMI history books, and to make way for an exciting new staff development programme, Ardú.
‘Ardú’ is an Irish word, meaning ‘Rise’. It is the name for the new unique and bespoke staff development programme which was launched through the FMI Academy on August 4th, 2015. The name incorporates our proud indigenous roots, as well as the opportunity it affords our staff to grow within our business.
The ‘Ardú’ staff development programme focuses on a huge variety of essential skill sets that will enable each candidate to successfully manage teams in the field. Calling on a wealth of knowledge and experience, balanced with a variety of management theory, ‘Ardú’ is a massively comprehensive management training programme that offers real growth and development opportunities.
Our exciting new programme has been quite some time in the making, and has taken a considerable amount of preparation and development. Combining the knowledge and skills from around our business, we pulled together to create a unique and bespoke programme that we are truly proud of. Every hour has been worthwhile as this is a strong, formidable, and invigorating platform for the development of each and every one of our future leaders.
The response to the launch of ‘Ardú’ has been outstanding, with a number of prospective leadership candidates already booked in to start their ‘rise’.
